Sometimes referred to by others as "your newsletter", LSTJ is a full-fledged magazine dedicated to the education and motivation of the throwing public.  Each quarterly issue (now 52 coated black & white pages) contains articles about technique, training, coach and athlete profiles, meet championship coverage and much more.  LSTJ is the only throws periodical of its type, and the only one in the world.

Coaching Highlights
Coached/tutored Jeremy Silverman (185'/65'4") from the age of 10. Jeremy went on win double gold at the PA State Champs and set a new state record in the shot. Jeremy was a scholarship athlete at UCLA and is now training at Arizona State.  Jeremy is set to enter dental school in the fall of 2008.  

As a senior Whiting was the Gatorade National Track and Field Athlete of the Year, was the nation's top-rated prep in both the shot and discus.  He set PA records in both events and was also the Pan-Am Juniors double gold medalist.  Ryan, now a redshirt sophomore at Arizona State is currently #3 on the WORLD list with his 2008 NCAA Indoor winning throw of 71'-3.5".  Ryan also has a DT PR of 200'-11".

Joe Kovacs is now a redshirt freshman at Penn State.  Joe had prep bests of 64-10.75 (19.78m) and 184-10 (56.34m) , and like Jeremy, won double gold at the PA State Champs and set a new state record in the shot. Joe is redshirting his freshman outdoor campaign.
